- 1. Choose between Google Login and Ethereum Login (Metamask) for secure and efficient access to your wallet.
- 2. When you log in for the first time using either of the login methods, an account will be automatically created for you.
- 3. Remember, using different login methods creates two distinct accounts for your journey on Beatport.io, amplifying the depth of your experience.
- 4. Rest assured, we use Auth0, the most adopted authentication provider worldwide, for seamless and secure account creations.
- 5. If you opt for Ethereum Login (Metamask), your Ethereum address is used for logging in and account creation. However, it doesn't determine where your valuable NFTs reside. They will still be securely held in your wallet on Beatport.io.
- 6. No verification or confirmation emails are necessary; you're immediately part of our global community. When you log in with your chosen method, you become an immediate member of our global community, ready to explore and connect.
When you sign up for an account on Beatport.io, a unique digital wallet is automatically created for you. This wallet acts as a storage space for all the items you purchase on Beatport.io, allowing you to conveniently manage and update your digital collection.
The digital wallet ensures that your purchases are stored safely and is easily accessible whenever you need it. You can access your digital wallet by logging in to your account on Beatport.io and navigating to the My Collection section. From there, you can view, manage, and update your collection, as well as download any of your purchases. With your digital wallet, your music collection is always at your fingertips, ready to play whenever you want it.
Please note when making a purchase or transferring an item to another wallet there may be a short delay before it appears, this is a common feature with blockchain backed services. Should you have any questions or encounter any problems please contact the customer services team support@beatport.io.
Please note that the payment is processed through Stripe, which supports various payment methods depending on your location. For instance, if you are buying from Latin America, Apple Pay may not be available as a payment option.
Alternatively, you can also use Metamask to pay with Ethereum. By connecting your wallet, you can complete the payment in Ethereum, while still having your collectible stored on Polkadot’s parachain Aventus.
Once you have an account, follow these steps to make a purchase:
- 1. Choose the collectible you want to buy
- 2. Select the item and click on the title or image to access the product page
- 3. On the project page, you can find additional details such as the price, format, and utility of the collectible. Take the time to verify that it meets your requirements.
- 4. If you wish to proceed with the purchase, click the "Buy" button associated with the item.
- 5. After clicking "Buy", you will be taken to a checkout page where you may have to provide additional details, such as your preferred payment method. Complete the required fields.
- 6. Once you have confirmed your purchase details, click "Place Order" or "Complete Purchase" to finalize your transaction
- 7. If you have added multiple items to your cart, you will be redirected to the checkout page after completing your purchase.
- 8. When the purchase is successful, you will have access to the content through your Beatport.io account.
